forty five minute hours.

I generally feel like I am in a Woody Allen movie.

Yes, all the time.

Even when I was small.

Starting at age three I would cry on my birthday because I felt that I would never get the year back. And when I was four I was concerned about how I would find not only my locker in high school, but also who i'd marry.

so yeah. Woody Allen. Its not that I feel like the ladies in his films, obviously, just the man himself.

thank goodness for 45 minute hours.

if only...

the upper west side

was not on the upper west side.

My love for the Gwanus Canal

My love for the Gwanus Canal is intense. I seriously love wandering around there.

I love it there, all of the creepiness, the weirdness.

it is just perfect.

Despite its Superfund status..it is one of my most favorite places in Brooklyn..

17 May 2009

today two very important things happened.

the first of which is above.
the object, which you may not be acquainted with is a deep fried Oreo.
now last fall i decided it was high time to eat and enjoy the bomb of fatness while at a street fair in bk.
to no avail, they were all gone, i went to many a vendor only to be turned away.
epic sadness.
seriously.
sadness.
but today i ate one and you know what.
its no big deal.
it was pretty meh.

it was all build up and no delivery.

on the other hand.
there was always that amazing ball of falafel.
no picture.
but you can imagine:

a ball of chick-pea goodness.

my love for.

street peanuts is real.

sometimes i go into the city just to get them.

but spotted near my apt. is street peanut lady.

although they look way to sketch.

i like the idea that they are generally moving in my direction.

but still the peanuts on spring & bway are the best.
